I’m not exactly sure why, but stairways to me are an excellent photographic subject. Perhaps it’s the symmetry, or the focus, or the way they draw the eye to a point. Or, perhaps it’s just the sense I have with stairways of ‘getting somewhere’, of progress.
Anyway, here’s the stairway at my dentist’s office.
My phone camera goes everywhere with me and can be very useful when I don’t feel like fishing out the Nikon.
Downtown Calgary, iPhonely speaking.
It wasn’t until I woke up this morning that I realized that yesterday’s offering was, in fact, not taken with my iPhone at all. It was taken with my Nikon. I apologize for this. The evidence was right there in front of me, but I guess I was too tired at the time I posted for it to register.
To make up for it, here’s a shot that was definitely taken with my iPhone, just last week.
I caught this while headed out for dinner the other night.
Not So Random
I snagged this shot with the iPhone at a car show on Friday. It actually looks photoshopped, but it’s not. I just focused on the pooch, and everything behind him blurred. Eureka!
This is where the show goes on, iPhone-style.
