Let there be light… of a most spectacular nature.
Just last week I hauled my iPhone out for this little display on the underside of a Chinook deck over Calgary, Alberta.
Chinook decks typically include a mix of mid- and upper-level clouds which are usually wind-whipped, torn, ragged, driven and finally blasted apart. In the distance you can see the clear space which denotes the so-called Chinook Arch.

Are those pine trees? :D
Hi, yes they are. We are in Calgary, Alberta. A good mix of pine and deciduous trees here. Today we await a big winter storm.
Gorgeous sunset!
Thanks. I can’t claim ownership but it was spectacular,
Thanks for stopping by.
